1/2-Inch Extra Thick High Density Anti-Tear Exercise Yoga Mat with Carrying Strap

Great mat!
I love this mat so far. I got the green one and it’s a super beautiful color. It has no smell and its thickness is so comfortable. Its stability is also amazing. The mat doesn’t pull or crease as I use it. It’s large enough that I can use it comfortably. It came with a carrying strap which is so handy. I love the stability and comfort that it has.

Good for Yoga, Bad for HIIT
I’ll begin by saying I knew what I was getting into by buying a 1/2 inch thick mat. There’s a few things you can and cannot do with this mat, and I’ll outline them below:- You CAN do yoga, it’s a good length, and the extra thickness helps cushion my joints from the hard floor. The surface is grippy even with socks on.- You CANNOT do HIIT or other rapid-movement exercises, the mat will slip around a bit and stretch out due to the foam material it’s made of.- You CANNOT (or should not) wear sneakers while doing exercises on the mat; mine left small divots that don’t go away, and since the shoes grip the surface, it would probably be more likely to tear the mat over time, especially if I’m doing HIIT.- You CAN clean the mat, however, I usually use a disinfectant spray or wipe to do so, and because this mat is quite porous, I’m not sure my wipes would do the job effectively. The description says to clean with soap and water, and I’m not overly inclined to drop it in the bathtub.Other notes, my mat came rolled up (as expected) and was sealed in plastic, so I knew it was clean and unused. Small thing, but it was nice to know I wasn’t getting a re-packaged and re-sold product. It took some effort to get it flat, but flipping it over and setting it in the sun actually helps to flatten it out so you can use it almost right out of the box. The mat itself is a nice color, doesn’t have any weird smells, and if I take care of it and do light-impact exercises only, it should last a while. I will say that the mat squeaks a little when doing exercises on hardwood floors, but on carpet it’s fine. Overall, a nice product, just not optimal for the other higher-intensity exercises I wanted to use it for.

I love this. I use it every day. Thick and comfy. t’s like a piece of furniture now!

Decent mat, thinner than expected.
The mat is fine except that it is only about 3/8″ thick, but the 1/2″ that is claimed.
