Best blender I ever owned
Best blender I have ever owned. Great quality, powerful and made in the USA! I can highly recommend it.

Great blender, simple design, small footprint
This is my second Waring blender. The first was a gift and lasted for 25 years. The motor still worked in the old one but at the time a part was broken and was cost prohibitive to replace. After trying another blender for a few years I went back to this model Waring as it should last me the rest of my life.

Blender container rich in LEAD
EDIT: We tested the metals INSIDE the container as well. While the fins didnât show positive, the metal used on the base of the container ALSO tested positive for lead. See screenshot. STAY AWAY from this blender! We bought the BB900G blender (which uses this container) around 6 months ago because it used glass instead of plastic, which (we thought) made it safer to use and truly dishwasher safe. The metal fins on the bottom of the container had a different color on them that reminded me of the color of lead, so on a hunch I bought lead testing swabs on Amazon and tested it. Almost immediately the color turned to a rich purple. The blender worked well besides this, but I am throwing this out and switching to another one because of this issue.

A kitchen MUST.
My old Waring blender went the way of all belongings in my home fire. This one’s slightly different cosmetically (silver base, rather than black and rubber over the on-switch), but works like these blenders always, reliably have. It’s good to have at one familiar kitchen appliance with me during temporary hotel living (not by desire).

Excellent
I make a smoothie almost everyday and was looking for a glass blender to replace my ninja bullet that broke after 5 or so years. This is then one. Itâs more powerful and quieter. Looks great and while not dishwasher safe it is easy to clean. Hot water and a pump of soap, run it, rinse and done. Only thing I wish it had was a better spout to pour liquids.

Gave Away Our VitaMix For It
The ultimate quality made retro blender. Simple, and REAL glass, not plastic. My wife is a great cook and she loves it

DRINKING SHARDS OF GLASS!
REALLY surprised – Waring used to make a great blender. But the person who said the glass started shredding was right – the same thing happened to us! DANGEROUS – DO NO BUY!!!

Hmmm
Beautiful Art Deco/classic designed base (plastic, but well covered with stainless steel so it feels like a solid metal base). Highly chrome polished stainless steel.Beautiful heavy glass blender container. Feels good in the hand, heavy and solid. No plastic junk that will scratch and stain in the course of use.Long, heavy duty power cord. One nice silicon covered toggle switch for both power settings. Wonderful feel to the hand.Classic metal name plate riveted on the front around the power switch. It is an aesthetically pleasing device to use and look at.It was able to crush ice cubes very well. Made a very fine snow cone-like ice, perfect for frozen drinks. Our only complaint; the blender container only holds 40 oz right to the brim… we need some headspace to make our smoothies and cooking sauces/marinades.Also seems to blend best with 10-20 oz of fluid in it, with more it doesn’t pull solids into the vortex well enough.
