I am writing this to inform purchasers to pull the bottom pieces of Styrofoam apart and you will find the bases for the dumbbells. I almost threw them out with the trash. So glad they responded quickly!

Cheaply made
I only used this dumbell twice before it broke.. I usually only use 15 pounds but today the higher weights would not connect. I found that a piece had somehow broke off the inside of the dubell. There was this molded plastic laying on top the plate which held the weighted plate in place. I only do 30 min workouts. I would avoid these.

These are very well designed. They are very user-friendly. The weight can be adjusted by turning the dial. They are ideal for light exercise and muscle building. The grip is also comfortable. They are a great space-saving solution.

If you don’t want to have a whole bunch of different weights this will work just fine… Or if you want to keep weight in another area from where you usually work out this would be perfect. For example you could keep this by your desk and just do some bicep curls without them taking up too much space
