Great for getting into shape.
I purchased these weights for a grandson who wanted to get into better shape. He loved them and works out 4-5 times a week, when his job permits the time. Physical fitness is so important for young adults and teenagers who spend a lot of time on computer games. They need a physical challenge to keep their bodies as strong as their game skills.

Damaged bar.
I hadn’t used them for exercise yet and one is already broken. I was putting some weight on the bar and when I lift it vertically to put weight on the other side, it just falls apart and almost hit my foot. I don’t know if you’re not supposed to lift them vertically, if that’s the case, my fault. On the other hand, it is not a very safe set to use because the fixed nut loosens while you exercise. So keep an eye one that. Overall, I’m a little sad because I really liked them, feels like good quality, but they have a few things that disappoint me. I personally will keep them, cause I can keep using them but I wish the bar didn’t arrived damaged and that they were safer to use.

Buyer beware!!!
I was REALLY excited about this! Itâs missing a tiny part though. One of the stopper things that keeps the plates on the bar. Just one. I was told I cannot only get a new part; I have to return the entire 40lb item if I want a replacement! Missing a couple ounce item and I have to repackage 40lbs. And the box came DESTROYED! Literally destroyed and wrapped in tape to help hold it together so I donât even have a usable box to return this in! Really bummed. It severely limits how it can be used. No dumbbells for me. I guess Iâm going to see if I can just buy the part some other way as I refuse to buy a box to put this in, but buyer BEWARE or be ready to ship it back.

Ok product. The cap that holds the weights on sometimes comes loose which can make the weight plates rotate and move. But other than that no problems.
