Other than the higher-than-my-thrifty-mind-can-deal-with price tag, plenty to like about this
Its first use was as a proofing container for small batches of pizza dough. With all the latches latched it seals excellently. To the point where when the air hole plug was lifted, Poof! a great deal of built up pressure was released and my two little balls of dough instantly expanded to fill their respective chambers.The divider worked well keeping each dough ball contained, but did get pushed sideways when it just had one ball to deal with after an overnight in the fridge. Given that the bottom is made of stainless steel, the divider won’t do much to keep a cold side cold and a warm side warm.Also comes with a medium sized dip/sauce/condiment/pudding container with a stretchy silicone lid. It holds a little more than 2 ounces/70 ml.

Pretty nice meal prep container
Cool and convenient for meals on the go. Seals up fairly well but I also wouldn’t trust it for an airtight seal. Decent size and cleans up with ease.

It’s very good but with a critical shortcoming that makes it only ‘leak-resistant’, not ‘leak-proof’
This would be an excellent bento-style lunch box if it weren’t for one critical shortcoming. The metal is nice and thick, and it seals almost fully with the four clips on each side of the lid. The steel container (base) is microwaveable and oven safe, which is really neat, and the whole container is dishwasher-safe. It’s got an optional ‘partition’ that does a good job of keeping solid foods separated on between sides of the container, and the whole lunch box only weighs a pound or so, so it’s easy to carry around. It also does a pretty good job of keeping hot food warm for a while, and it’s got a ‘steam release’ on the top you can pop open to make sure you can open it without a pressure release.The critical flaw is that the designers opted to use a length of hollow rubber tubing for the ‘O-ring’ on this lunch box. That might not sound like an issue but it is – the fact is it has a hole or rather a spot where the tube is not sealed to itself. When this compresses by you closing the lid, it provides a tiny spot that moisture and liquids can and will get through. Now it’s not a huge leak, sure… But for $35 I don’t see why they couldn’t have used an actual O-ring or at least sealed the hollow tube. So that it actually, you know… seals.Aside from that, the separator is nice, but it definitely will not prevent liquids from seeping through to the other side, but that wouldn’t have reduced the star rating since it’s not meant for that. It does bear mentioning though that you’ll want to keep any liquids in the little circular container that has its own separate lid, or else they’ll be all over the container (and leaking out some) by the time you open it. If you do put them inside the round container they’ll stay where you put them, though.Overall, for $35 this lunch box was almost a perfect choice, but it’s just so confusing they decided to use a hollow rubber tube instead of an actual seal.* I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things – the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable.* If I get multiple of something it’s because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn’t hold up as expected.

A little pricey
This is a great little lunchbox for hot or cold food. I like the divider, which you can place right where you want it, making a leak-resistant seal. The little round container with its own lid is perfect for sauces, condiments or whatever you like. It’s very durable, functional and versatile. I do feel it’s on the pricey side…that being said, it’s great quality and should last a very long time.
