Solid weights and worst the money
Adjustable weights are not exactly cheap. I got mine over Black Friday with the stand for a little over $500 out the door. These are awesome and perfect supplement to my Bowflex home gym. Free weights just offer so much versatility, but a full set of cast iron dumbbells is not not reasonable for a home gym. These are great. The adjustments have a very noticeable click when adjusting and the build quality is solid. The 52.5 lb range is great for 95% of my workouts and anywhere I could use more weight, I just do an extra set for a few more reps. But again, for me, only a few lifts that stepping up to 1070âs would be more ideal. However, for most folks the range of weight is more than adequate. It would be nice if Bowflex could have engineered them to be dropped. Iâve never dropped them, but in certain circumstances when in forced reps for really pushing, it would be nice to be able to bail and just let them fall, but this is a minor issue. Better for me to just sure more control at a lower weight that to try and push weight that is too heavy. The stand is solid and the base plates are low enough to comfortably rack the weight without having to lift the dumbbells too high and risk strain or injury.If you are big or can lift a lot, Iâd recommend the heavier set, but for most of us mortals, these are great for the majority of lifts. Additionally, Iâd prefer the handles not to be convex, and just straight. Although they are comfortable the convex shape can make your grip a little awkward if you donât have weight balanced exactly in the middle, but again a minor thing.

Easily adjusts the weights
These dumbbells are so easy to use with the variety of weight adjustments. The set is so versatile that the whole family can use them to meet their exercise needs. The handle is easy to grip no matter what your hand size is and these make an excellent addition to the workout room. The stand is well worth the money to complete the set instead of just having the dumbbells sitting in the corner!

Don’t Buy Cheap(er) Chinese Knockoffs — But Bowflex!
Over the years I’ve owned two sets of these extremely well engineered and built Bowflex adjustable dumbbells and am glad I bought them again because during the pandemic, I discovered other companies building Chinese knock-offs that appeared to look exactly like the original patent holder’s equipment, so I bought a pair. What a mistake. The Chinese knockoffs didn’t work nearly as well, nothing was precise, weights slipped from their locking mechanisms and sometimes it was difficult just to find the sweet spot where the plates caught and you were able to lift them out of their cradle. Never had any problem with my Bowflex db’s. Not the previous pairs, not my current pair. You’ve been warned, don’t buy the cheaper Chinese knockoffs.

Have always liked Bowflex equipment.
Assembly of the stand was fairly simple, especially if you have your own tools. When I went to cinch the dumbbell base to the stand with the adjustable straps the male connector snapped in half for both of them where the strap runs through. Wasnât a problem as I grabbed some heaving duty velco from my work to cinch them both down. Great product!

Very happy with this purchase. Went with the known name brand and glad I did.Easy to adjust, stand is perfect for its intended use. Very sturdy. The clip holding the weights could have been places better but doesnt impact me. Note, i do not have big hands and think the clip might impact bigger thicker hands.Does require some getting use to as each db is wider given the adjustable nature of them. But so far, so good.

Easy to get a good quick and accessible workout in any time. The stand makes it appear like furniture. The assembly can be time consuming as an individual, but not impossible.
