Better than BowFlex
I like it! It’s been a while since I used free weights but wanted to start again since working from home was making me soft. When I did have free weights at home a while back, I rarely used two dumbbells at once except for maybe lunges. But having two now is much more convenient. I still do individual arm workouts and have one at more weight for bicep workout and one at lesser weight for triceps. And for leg day, I’ll pack on the weight on both sides. So far switching weight has been smooth. The grip is good. It’s plastic with smooth rubbery texture. The weight feel well made and don’t jingle around like typical free weights. I did also order BowFlex dumbbells before this and returned them cause they felt wider. I’d say the quality between the two brands are about the same with this brand being slighter short, which is a good thing. As for caring for them, I just give them a wipe with light soapy water and dry. I don’t drop them after a workout either. I wouldn’t trust dropping any dumbbell that has small moving parts tbh. I also like that they don’t take up much space and can be hidden away if I have guest over. All in all I really like them for the price point.

WOW Amazing Adjustable Dumbbell
This adjustable dumbbell is incredibly well made. I have owned other sets of this type of adjustable dumbbell, but they are a bit sticky with exact alignments of the weight for them to work. Not these; they easily adjust with nice strong clicks on the weight knobs. You will know when it is ready to lift out of the cradle safely. I love the clear and precise instructions for use to keep from causing damage when removing from cradle or using them in my workout. The Heavy nylon coating keeps the weights from clanging together. The handle is stout and has a rubber surface for a non-slip grip. This dumbbell has been designed with safety in mind. You cannot remove it from the cradle unless it is clearly marked on the correct weight with alignment of the arrows. You cannot turn the knobs once it is removed from the cradle so no accidental release of the weight plates. I love the small increments of 2.5 lbs. Fixed weights don’t have this advantage, usually having to own a multiple of weights if you want this small adjustment. This is space saving and allows me to increase gradually. I got this dumbbell for improving my leg workout to go heavier and to incorporate other lighter weights in the other hand to correct imbalances in my muscles.Price point for this design seems pretty good. I’ve seen less expensive ones including another set I own that uses the handle to adjust the weights and trust me these types are touchy. They don’t always align correctly and leave a weight behind or grabs a plate you don’t want unless you turn the handle just right. So, keep this in mind when searching for something similar but less expensive.I love this dumbbell for all it offers with safety being number one with this manufacturer instead of making cheap junk that doesn’t perform or malfunctions. This adjustable dumbbell is definitely number one in my home gym.

This is a good weight set
I’ve always wanted the Bowflex dumbbells but to me they are kinda expensive. I found this weight set at a lower price and decide to give them a try. They do not disappoint. They are well made, the dial are easy to adjust, and are high quality. My only complain is that they can be a little big and bulky for what I need.I already got some screw type dumbbells and a bench press in my garage. My existing equipments have been working well for me. I will keep these in another room and use them for some quick exercise. Let me see if I can get use to the size and I will decide if I want to keep them. I probably will tho, we’ll see.

A good dumb bell for the price
So I actually already have a pair of bow flex adjustable dumb bells that I am comparing this to. The weights are pretty dead on for the dumb bell and I only noticed a very slight variance so you won’t have to worry about them being “out of balance” in your hand. It is slightly smaller than my bowflex and they adjust easily just like them as well. As for versatility they sadly suffer from the same problems as the bowflex. They are larger than if you simply had a standard dumbbell of each weight which makes it more difficult to do certain exercises. Like if you are lifting from the side straight and then rotating your wrist as you are doing the curl. You’ll sometimes rub against your leg but honestly this is a sacrifice you make when you buy “adjustable” dumb bells. You save a lot of space but lose a bit of versatility. The design is pretty straightforward but I’m unsure if it will suffer the same fates that the bowflex do if you drop them and such. Because I know a lot of adjustable dumb bells can be a bit fragile I didn’t drop them like I’d do a normal one. There are much more expensive ones that advertise you can beat them up without issue but since they didn’t advertise that I am not really going ye or nay on that. They provide good value and they are good quality. If you want an adjustable I’d say give it a try.

Nice design
Nice weights, only got the one but I’d order another. I like the aesthetic of the design and for sure it’s a good looking addition to the home gym here. Easy to adjust by turning the dial and lifting. The base is solid and stable, nothing wrong with these at all and I appreciate non rolling design of the plates, these for sure stay where you put them down.
