Too small!!!
I don’t know if it’s a trick photography or what, but these things looked a lot bigger in the listing photo than in person. Very small meant for smaller children you can barely fit a good size sandwich in it. I also don’t like the idea of relying on the strap to securely lock the lids.

Two problems here.
Two problems here. First, stainless steel is great in that it doesn’t have BPAs, but an all-stainless steel bento conducts heat really well and you’re going to burn your hands if the food inside is too hot. If you only use it for cold food, it works well. Second, the dividers for the interior are flimsy and slide around unless you periodically bend the box sides inward to hold them. Otherwise, it’s solid, good capacity, attractive design.

Heat keeping Bento Box
I am quite please with this lunch box. It holds heat in for awhile. The separate compartments are well sized. And it is sturdy overall. I mean, not “drop it off a roof” sturdy, but “normal dings and bumps” sturdy.

These bento boxes are outstanding. I love their sturdiness – the curved edges, the weightiness, the seamless fit of the plastic lids, and the hefty stainless steel lid that completes the look. Every component, individually and collectively, exudes quality and elegance. Compared to other bento boxes I own (and I have quite a few decent ones!), these feel truly high-end.With increasing concerns about the harmful effects of microplastics, these stainless steel boxes arrived at the perfect time. In the past, I avoided stainless steel boxes due to their lack of microwave compatibility, but these are designed to be microwaved safely for up to six minutes – which I tested with no explosions!After washing and admiring the beautiful design, I couldn’t wait to pack my lunch for the next day – salmon poke – which perfectly illustrates why these boxes are so great. I was able to separate the “dry” components (rice) from the wet ones, and I plan to microwave the rice before eating to soften it up. Since I often eat Chinese food, I also appreciate how well these bento boxes keep rice separate from side dishes.In short, I’m so impressed that I immediately came back to Amazon and purchased the other color to have both options.

Useless without the string to keep the containers together.
It’s okay but the fact that it needs to be held together by that middle string I don’t like it. That string won’t last forever and when it’s ripped apart the containers will not stay together.
