Simple, easy, healthy cookbook.
If you’re looking for a fancy, intricate cookbook with unique ingredients, this isn’t it. Instead, this book is the opposite but in all the best ways. Every recipe has a photo, and a list of each ingredient needed (7 or less!). Many ingredients are in your home now, or are easy to find. As a mom looking for inspiration, this is a great cookbook. It’s a simple take on healthy dinner, without cutting any corners. Great for first time cooks, moms on a budget, or a healthy foodie looking for something new. I already tried 3 of the recipes in this book in less than a week. Very delicious, and I’m sure they will be even better next time around when I add my own touch. Bravo.

I hate to cook
I love this cookbook. I hate to cook, but I am sick of ordering takeout. First made a recipe from Gina I found on Instagram and it was such a success that I signed up for emails and bought this cookbook. I have many cookbooks and this one I really use. 7 ingredients, instructions I really understand, successful meals! Gina has tips on substitution and the meals are often excellent for meal prep. I hate to cook, but I am cooking with Gina at least once a week.

Best one yet!
Gina really knocked it out of the park this time. I love all of her other cookbooks and enjoy cooking out of them when I have time. But she really tuned into the needs of her readers and provided many amazing looking recipes that require few ingredients and are quick and easy. There is a great deal of variety in terms of types of foods, method of preparation and dietary preferences. My favorite part is the format. They added pictures of the ingredients and it gives you a quick view of the flavors. I just love the book completely!

My favorite Skinnytaste cookbook, and that’s saying a lot!
I own all but one of the other Skinnytaste cookbooks, love them all, and they are by far the cookbooks I use most often. I really debated about getting this one, and wondered just how many new ideas Gina would be able to come up with, especially with just 7 ingredients. Well, the answer is plenty! I’ve made about a dozen recipes already and all have been delicious- several (Chicken and Leeks One Pot Gnocchi, Chicken and Spinach Pasta, Tortellini Soup) are in regular rotation already. I’m amazed at all the flavor those 7 ingredients can pack into a dish, and everything has been quick and easy to make.Making your shopping list is easy with a pared down list of ingredients, and the results are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Curious to try out some of these.
I was not familiar with the Skinnytaste site, or Gina Homolka until very recently. I am trying to lose weight like so many others, and a dietitian recommended her recipes.I got the books (partly because I like cookbooks), but also because I didn’t want to have to search her site ALL the time.I just got the book yesterday, so I’ve only browsed through so far. I have found some i already want to try. I took one star off for now, only because I don’t know yet how the food will actually taste. It looks like she uses easy to find ingredients for most of what I looked at, and the directions seem reasonably easy to follow a I scan through. She mentioned that apparently did WW at one time. However, she notes in a small spot that you have to use the WW recipe builder or see if the recipe is on her site to get the point value. We shall see, is an hopeful these taste good, so if can have them in my rotation.

Love these cookbooks!
I’ve got all of the cookbooks by Gina Homolka and every single recipe I’ve tried has been delicious. I love that most are simple, made with pantry staples. I also appreciate the nutritional details as it makes it easier to track protein intake (or calories or carbs or whatever is your focus).

Tasty recipes
Love her books, love the website. Lost about 20 pounds with the majority of meals coming from the skinnytaste cookbooks and site. I am a pretty snobby foodie so I won’t eat it if it doesn’t taste good and this book does a great job with flavors.

I got this cooking book for my friend, and it’s great! The book has recipes with only 7 ingredients each, which makes cooking super simple. What’s cool is that there are pictures of the ingredients, so you know exactly what to use.My friend loved the book because the recipes are easy to follow and don’t need a lot of stuff. It’s perfect for busy people or those who are new to cooking. I think this book is great for anyone who wants to make tasty meals without a lot of hassle. I highly recommend it for a fun and easy cooking experience.

This book is in line with her other cookbooks. Easy to cook healthy meals for me (dad) to cook for the kids. I don’t have alot of experience cooking and the instructions here are great for my skill set.

I pre-ordered this cookbook and it arrived yesterday. I had a good look at it and there are several recipes that I can’t wait to try…..they all look delicious, healthy and not complicated. One thing that is especially helpful is that Gina posts a little picture of the ingredient/pantry item with each recipe. Another wonderful cookbook created by Gina that encourages a healthy lifestyle! Thank you!
