Great alternative to our expensive shower head!
We custom built our home years ago, and we choose a Hansgrohe fancy shower head from the subcontractor. I didn’t quite realize how much it cost, but when I went to buy a replacement, I had major sticker shock. I found this item and figured it was worth taking a chance on a “cheaper” shower head. I’m glad I did, as it works well. My wife says she cant’ tell the difference between the expensive Hansgrohe versus this one, and this one was about 10% of the price. In terms of looks, the fancy one is prettier, but let’s be honest, who really looks up at the shower head? The last shower head lasted 10 years — even if this one doesn’t last that long (let’s say only 5 years), I’m still winning. It’s so easy to install yourself so for me there was only the cost of the new shower head. Do I like it as much as the original, maybe 80-85% as good. Do I like it enough to save over $220 on it, absolutely. Honestly, until I filled out this review, I haven’t thought about it since I installed it, which tells you how much it doesn’t matter to me. I would definitely recommend this as a replacement. Comes with a regular mesh screen, a 1.8gpm restrictor, and a 2.5gpm restrictor.

Simple fix for low water pressure
Wow! What a difference this makes! Our house has low water pressure on the 2nd floor. We had high end Handsgrohe fixtures, but the water flow from the shower heads has been abysmal. I had a plumber out to explore increasing pressure to the house, but that wasn’t feasible. I considered having individual pressure pumps installed for the two upstairs bathrooms just to deal with the water pressure. This morning I replaced one of the shower heads with this new one–and problem completely solved! Water comes powerfully through the head, and rinsing shampoo and conditioner is now quick and easy. Installation was simple. The shower head comes with a flow restrictor, and it is necessary to remove it. I used a pointed tweezer to dig it out. I then installed the (included) screen, and simply screwed on the new shower head. Some reviewers commented that after removing the restrictor they were deluged with water as if poured from a bucket. I suspect that these reviewers neglected to install the screen after removing the restrictor. If the water flow is too intense, a second restrictor is included in the box which restricts flow less than the one that is pre-installed. Seems to me that one of these restrictors–or no restrictor–should be suitable for almost any water supply situation. Highly recommended.

Excellent Shower Head, Great Water Pressure!
This shower head by Sparkpod is incredible! We had a Jolie shower head with a filter, but the shower head lost significant water pressure after 18 months of use. Granted we have hard water, but I always make sure that my water softener has salt in it and Iâve used white vinegar to rinse and clean out every so often. After having low water pressure for a week, I figured I would clean out the showerhead with white vinegar, but it didnât do any good. I thought it was because we installed a brand new washing machine and something was going on with the plumbing in the house (thatâs what Google told me LOL). So I called my plumber out twice, but he said nothing was wrong both times. After 3 months of trying to figure this out, and my wife and I suffering without water pressure in the shower, I finally went on Amazon and found this showerhead by Sparkpod. I installed it in less than a minute, turned on the shower, and immediately saw the water pressure was very good, even with the 1.8 gallon/minute flow restrictor. It comes with a 2.5 gallon/minute flow restrictor for even higher water pressure, but I seriously doubt you will need that. We finally have our spa-like, rain head shower back and itâs incredible. Whatâs even more incredible is this showerhead is less than 50 bucks. A Jolie replacement showerhead is $165â¦What a rip off! We are so happy with the Sparkpod showerhead and I would recommend it to anyone!

No Frills, No Trouble!
This was a snap to install. I didn’t even need plumbing tape to achieve a leak-free connection, but your experience may be different. The item comes with two different flow-restrictors, but you can also use neither to achieve a super-strong spray. My only wish would be an adjustable spray control, as the three options you get from using either or none of the flow-restrictors doesn’t quite find my sweet spot. Great value for the price, and when it installs with no frustration, it’s an extra plus.

Put Luxury in Your Rainfall Shower Head!
I was staying as a hotel guest in a Crown Plaza Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia for a national conference. When I got into the shower, I did not realize I was under a rainfall shower head and was completely delighted when I turned the water on. This was like the best shower Iâve ever taken, so I wondered what was different about this rainfall showerhead. I saw it was a 8â large luxury rainfall shower head manufactured by Spark Pod. I was not familiar with this company, but I knew I had to buy one like this for my homeâs main bathroom. So I immediately ordered it from Amazon and it was waiting for me when I arrived home. My wife and I easily installed it and were so impressed by the experience of having this luxury rainfall shower in my home. I did buy the vintage color which worked perfectly with my bronze and copper bathtub and accessories.If youâre thinking about buying a luxury, rainfall shower head, do yourself a favor and buy this one or one like it from the same manufacturer. Youâll be glad you did. I give this 8â luxury, rainfall shower head my highest recommendation.

Economical Shower Head Upgrade
I installed this new shower head to get around poor water pressure and upgrade the look of the shower. It does both. It was super easy to install and immediately improved the quality of the shower experience. I bought a second one for the spare bathroom – family love them. This is a great upgrade for a very reasonable price.

From Well Water to Cleaner Water
If youâre second guessing on buying this, donât! Just do it. I have hard/well water and this has changed my hair and skin. The color of the water is definitely more clear. Itâs easy to install, no leaks. It works amazingly and the water pressure is perfect. Itâs easy to adjusts and even easier to clean.
