pedal to the metal!
I have been trying for my mom to be more active and I have finally being able to achieve it!! She loves her pedals. Now does it every day twice a day. Super easy to put together and adjust. Compact design so there is no complaint about space and its easy to carry. She has been able to work her way up to different resistance and getting stronger. I might not say it will be ideal for someone who is athletic, but for a sedentary person it is the perfect way to start.

Excellent Product
Outstanding pedal exerciser. Adjustable tension. Works well on floor (for feet/legs) or countertop (for arms/shoulders). Very pleased with my purchase. Fast shipping.

Overall a good value
I would think it would depend on the height and room under your desk as to how well this product would work. I bought it for my wife who was disabled for her to get some exercise at home. Even at its easiest setting, it was a little difficult for her to use.I use it when I’m sitting in a dining room chair or even my recliner. The action is fairly smooth. The difficulty is easily adjusted. I don’t use the counter on it it, but rather exercise by time. Overall, I think it’s a good value.

Would reccomend for anyone from very weak to strong and healthy
First off, let me tell you that I tried one of those cheapies, the folding kind, and if you want to waste your time and money, go ahead and get one. I cant even open a bottlecap right now, and the folding ones werent enough force for me to get stronger on. I returned it, and got this one instead. And, WOW, what a difference! The good:Putting it together is easy easy (except I needed help, but I am a special case right now, with no strength). 4 bolts, and 2 pedals, and 2 batteries (and 2 foot straps). All of it went together super easy (I am using it for purely tabletop right now, so am not using the straps).I set it at 1, and there is no resistence. I set it at 2, and I feel a workout in just a couple minutes (all I can stand right now. I have had neck surgery on 2 disks, and 3x on lower back, and my muscles are so weak I cant do much, which is why I bought this: To get stronger). My wife tried it on 8, and it was hard for her, and she is strong, so once I get to going up in resistance, I know it will be good forever for meThe Pedals are awesome, and have finger shapes on one side of them, and palm shape on the other side, so that they dont hurt like those cheapy folding ones did. There are no sharp edges on the Pedals at all, or anywhere near them. The Display actually works (unlike the folding one I had), and it starts up as soon as you start peddling. You can have it keep your progress from every workout by just leaving it alone after your workout, or you can reset it by holding in the big red button. Perfect for me, as I like it reset every day, but dont remember what I did the day before-I can start peddling to see what my time and distance was, then hold red button to reset and see if I can beat my time and distance (although I have only had it a couple days, I have already done this this afternoon when I worked out).My wife bought some of that non-slip stuff for the tabletop (the stuff that mechanics put in their drawers so tools dont slide around, or for kitchen drawers were you dont want stuff sliding around, same stuff), so the Minibike doesnt slide at all. Also, my wife says it is heavy enough to not slide anyway, but was easy-ish for her to move around.I have not had any sounds from the unit, it is entirely silent. It does not heat up like the folding one did.The bad (or, not so good, really, there is nothing really bad on the unit I got):It smells. And, I mean, it smells BAD! It smells like a dirty locker room. It smells like an entire football team stood above it after practice and sweated all over it. A little cleaner and a rag should sort out the smell though. I am sure this is an assembly line piece, that someone actually did sweat on, or multiple someones sweat all over. Pee-yooThe distance to the pedals is more than the cheapy folding ones was. This hurts my neck more, and rolls my shoulders forward a bit to be able to reach it (and I am 6 foot 2 inches tall, and the Minicycle is at the very edge of the table). I hope this wont be a problem for me in the long run. I may have to buy the arm things, like they have at the Physical Therapy place, so that it will be closer to me and I wont have to strain and hurt myself (remember, I am in bad bad physical shape, very very weak, and even just sitting hurts me, so if you arent as bad off as I am then you should not have any issues).

Eh
Overall, considering the price, it’s a good product. I must’ve had a defective product because once I put it together, I could hear grinding on the inside. I pulled it all apart to see what it was and it was nothing to do with the motor/inner mechanisms, turns out it was grinding against the large plastic pieces holding it together. After 3 hours (with breaks and research), I finally put it together without the grinding sound, BUT had to leave the screws untightened and left a slight crack in the middle.

Defective operation after 2 1/2 months of use
I rarely write reviews, but since I like to see others experiences with items before purchase, and am especially interested if someone has had a poor experience, I decided to write something as a warning for anyone interested in purchasing this mini exercise bike. It’s very nice in concept, not difficult to put together, quiet when working properly, not too heavy to move around. But it will move around on the floor as you pedal. There are two things a prospective buyer needs to know. First of all, the rubber end caps on the horizontal bars which rest on the floor leave a black residue which is pretty much impossible to get out. We have the bike resting on a white basement carpet. As the bike moves while peddling, there is some sort of black ooze that stains the surface below. I would recommend putting it on a surface that you don’t care so much about. But the main reason for this review is that after a bit more than two months of use, the bike started making a clanking sound after about 30 minutes of peddling, which would get progressively worse the longer one would peddle, until the loud racket makes it hard to listen to it gets so loud. Since it was passed the return option date, Amazon gave me contact information for the company since it was under warranty. After a couple days the company got back to me, indicated that it was likely an internal issue, and they would need to replace the bike. I even emailed them an audio recording of the noise. That was the last I heard from the company. So, three days later I contacted Amazon again, and after sending Amazon my email correspondence with the company, Amazon contacted the company and were told that they – Amazon – should remedy the issue. We still have the defective bike, but were issued a refund. So, kudos to Amazon for taking care of this. I honestly don’t know that I would have trusted a replacement, and the rep from Amazon felt the same way. This is on my wife’s Amazon Prime account, but since I was the main user of this bike I wanted to write the review.

Väldigt plastig, känns rätt billig när man trampar. Appen har inget direkt anpassat för den här produkten. Dock lätt att montera och koppla till app.

Unlike most of the other reviewers, I bought this device to use as an arm bike, not a bike for my legs. I have a recurring shoulder problem and am no longer able to use freehand weights other than for bicep curls. When I was in physio, my therapist always had me use a standing arm bike to loosen up my shoulders before starting treatment. I found the motion helped a great deal, so I decided to investigate how I might be able to incorporate an arm bike into my fitness routine. I’m glad I made this purchase. The bike arrived today and I was able to assemble it in less than 5 minutes. There is an instruction manual, but it’s not really needed. I like the weight of the bike. It’s heavy enough to be solid yet light enough to be portable. Yes, it does move when I work out, but I resolved that by placing it on a non-skid yoga mat. I like to exercise, but get bored pretty quickly. Because this bike can be moved around with little effort, I can place it on the kitchen counter and watch TV in the family room while I work out. Thirty minutes passes more easily with something good to watch and when I’m done, I can tuck it away in a cupboard. As I am just getting used to the bike, I keep the resistance fairly low (3 or 4) and after 15-20 minutes, I can feel it working my muscles. So far, I can’t see any cons other than the smell of the machine, almost like mothballs. I’m sure it will fade with time. Overall I’m really happy with the bike.

It is a convenient way of cycling at home while watching a show. After 30 minutes, I can feel the intensity of the workout and my whole body warmed up. The display will mot reset every time i start cycling but holding the button will do.
