How does Viome Work?
We offer three Intelligence Tests, the Full Body Intelligence Test is the most comprehensive. Using RNA sequencing, it analyzes activities in your oral microbiome, gut microbiome, and cells, offering the highest resolution of your body’s health.
Is Viome a Subscription Service?
No subscription is required to get started with the test. This includes up to 50+ health scores and personalized recommendations for food, supplements, and biotics. Following your results, personalized products are available through subscription.
How long does it take to receive my results and recommendations?
After receiving your sample(s) and questionnaire, it takes 2-3 weeks for health scores and recommendations. If subscribed to personalized products, expect delivery 5-14 days after receiving your results.
How long do I follow Viome’s recommendations?
Viome analyzes your gene expression, which diet and lifestyle can change, to recommend the best foods and nutrients for you. Retest every 4-6 months to update health insights and ensure your personalized products remain precise and effective.

A game changer for me!
This is an incredibly thorough and detailed product! The sample collection instructions are easy to follow, as is the rest of the process. The results will take a few weeks, but in return you receive a number of health scores and personalized food and supplement recommendations. As someone recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, it has been difficult to tune into my body’s needs and find ways to best support my health. This product is invaluable to me for that reason alone. Would highly recommend to someone in a similar situation, or anyone who just wants a comprehensive look at their general health.

Helpful Results + Actionable Feedback
I’m starting to feel the results of aging & perimenopause so ordered this test during Cyber Monday. I got the results a couple of weeks after sending samples and already feel a lot more in control of my health. Knowledge is power. The app provides a high level view of your results (good, average, bad) and allows you to double-click for the details in easy to read/understand text — and gives links to more scientific wording if want to read through it. I had to look up some acronyms but otherwise it was easy to follow. The food recommendations are exactly what I’ve been looking for and feel this type of information is lacking from most doctor visits. I like that it tells you the foods to eat more of and avoid — AND WHY!I also ordered 6 months of the supplements and probiotics to try since my special blend would be hard to create on my own. I’ll follow the food recommendations and supplements for 6 months as directed and may test again to see if there’s a noticeable change.I told friends/family we visited with over the holidays about the test & results. Most mentioned they didn’t think the $399 price was very much compared to a test at a doctors’ office that you’d most likely have to cover out of pocket – especially if you haven’t reached your annual deductible amount yet.Directions to send in samples were clear – I gave myself a little extra time before work to complete and dropped in the mail on the way to work. The poop collection gave me a little stress but I’m pretty “regular” and was able to get the timing right.When completing the questionnaire I found it helpful that I had already done a food sensitivity test (also by mail from another company) so knew those results. This Viome test does not provide food sensitivity/allergy results but does incorporate your inputs into your food recommendations.

Save your money! The process is a joke. They ask a million questions from which the sample should be able to answer once tested! I can already predict the output based upon the leeding questions asked. Then they damaged my sample and will need an additional 2 weeks on top of my expected 4-6 weeks to retest! SCAM ALERT

Interesting
I found this test interesting. First, be sure to read the directions all the way through before taking your samples. It was time consuming, so make sure you give yourself an hour the morning you decide to collect them. After sending in my samples, it took a while to get results. I was hoping the timeline provided was an over estimate, but it took almost a month. The information they provide is well organized. I wish there was more detailed information about how the results are determined. The avoid foods list was nice to know but again, I’d love to know more of the ‘why’ behind the recommendations.

A clear path forward, finally!
I took this test after my wife took one and it was such an eye-opening experience! I have worked night shifts and weird hours for the last 20 years and I know it’s impacted my health tremendously. Now that I’m retiring I’m trying to make the changes I need to go stay healthier for longer and Viome gave me a very clear place to start. My wife and I have started implementing our recommendations along with plenty of sleep, water and activity and I already feel so much more energized. There are some foods I haven’t yet given up….but the provided recommendations are very reasonable, so I’m sure I will be able to make the changes overtime.

Gut Biome Game Changer!
I recently took the Viome Full Body Test, and am thoroughly impressed! The kit arrived the week I ordered it and the instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. It took less than an hour and they made it simple to package and send out from my mailbox.My results came back within a couple of weeks and the insights were mind-blowing! They provided a breakdown of my SuperFoods, Foods to Enjoy, Foods to Minimize, and Foods to Avoid (I unfortunately, had to cut out some of the foods I was eating regularly). The lists were very clear and easy to understand. Viome put together a Nutrition Plan that incorporated all their recommendations, making it super simple to follow. Since implementing Viome’s recommendations I’ve immediately noticed an improvement in my digestion and energy levels.Viome also created a personalized list of supplements and gut biotics tailored specifically to my unique gut biology. I have yet to order these, but plan to order them soon.For too long I was trying different diets recommended by podcasts or books and people who had no idea what my body truly needed. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m thrilled to finally have a diet plan to follow that was designed just for me!!

Great product and even better customer service/company!
My wife and I each did the Viome intelligence test 3 years ago. We really enjoyed the user interface and comprehensive information we received back from Viome…so much so we are doing it now again to see what has changed for us over the past few years. The test is super easy to do, but please read over the instructions first since the order and way in which you gather the 3 types of samples is important. I sent my samples back just before Christmas. They were super fast in communication back to me that it was received and that the sample was being processed. Results back in less than 3 weeks…over the holidays no less. Great way to start off the new year. Thanks Viome. Very happy with the product and the process. Now I just hope I can follow the great recommendations and insight provided back to me.
