Powerful and Noticeably Quiet
It does the job, powerful and the noise level is low. I’ve used vitamix blenders at restaurants – where they were stationed at the front of the counter, always reliable and with the plastic sound shield, you could barely hear them blending ice. If the the sound of a standard kitchen blender annoys you, owning one of these will be a delightful change to your daily routine.

POWERFUL BLENDER UNLIKE OTHERS I’VE HAD
Our friends who have had one of these for decades talked us into buying one. We are not disappointed! It makes things very smooth!It also makes soup. The heat must come from the friction of the blade going around. But it makes soup, given time!We mostly use it for smoothies and blending creamed soups. The extra tools are nice. They help get food out from around the blades. I am glad I got those. The plunger is a must. It is engineered to push food toward the blade but it is not long enough to get caught in the blade. Very sturdy and reliable.

I have always wanted a Vitamix and finally got one. It blends so easy and has a great design. I only have to rinse it out and itâs ready toGo for the next time. It is very quiet even when blending ice.

The grinder from hell. This thing is bulletproof. I use it almost every morning for my smoothies. Ice, nuts? No problem. A little expensive, but well worth it. I plan on having this for years.

Container doesn’t lock into place.
I gave this a 4 start as the container just pops on and off without locking down. It can be removed while the blender is still running. That is a safety hazard. It works fine and very simple to operate. I replaced another that I had for about 20 years which had a 2 stage motor and the container and lid had to be locked into place to run the blender. This is so different. Luckily there are no children in the house so I can continue to use it. Just a bit disappointed. But I will keep it.

Itâs as good as they say it is. A real life saver, literally. I use this to make blended food for my daughter who is Tube fed. It makes everything into a perfect formula. Even the harder meats! We blended pork chops and it had no problems and I havenât even turned it past 7 yet! I was worried about this purchase because itâs a huge expense for a blender for it not to work but it was exactly what we needed. And it has a 7 year warranty that was easy to set up, I just scanned the code and filled out a form. If you’re a tube parent, caregiver or have a feeding tube yourself this blender is exactly what youâre looking for. And if your just looking for a great blender then your in luck it blends whole meals, meat, vegetables, bread and potatoes to a smooth liquid.

Wow, this Vitamix blender I purchased is extremely durable, has awesome power and so easy to clean.It is quite loud on high speed, but hey…I can live with that since it blends the creamiest smoothies ever.

Been using this blender for about 6 months now. Itâs a solid blender, comparable to the old 5000 series vitamix and does everything I hoped a vitamix would do.Pros-powerful (variable speeds with fast top end speed. Breaks through ice with ease)-smaller container is good as it fits under kitchen cabinets better, easier to clean, and is better for doing small smoothie portions which is what I generally make. You can always buy the bigger container later if you are looking to do a high volume smoothies, soups, etc.-price (being an entry level model itâs much cheaper. It doesnât have the timed settings, but Iâm my opinion those are a gimmick (as long as you have speed settings and an on/off button youâre good to go with blenders.Cons-vibration, when reading reviews there was complaints of vibration. I have noticed a bit of a vibration especially starting a harder blend with lots of ice. The vibration goes away once the ice crushes down a bit. Just put on hand on the top until the ice smooths out a bit and itâs all good.-noise (to be expected), all vitamixes are notoriously noisy because of their power, not a huge con but itâs why Starbucks uses those sound proof containers-plastic knobs feel cheap, not an issue but compared to their older models these knobs feel like a cheap appliance and could be a weak point in the future.Overall itâs a good blender, and if you can get it on sale in the low $300s I would recommend.

I am upgrading from a Nutri-Bullet 600 watt unit which I will say I did love for the last 5 years. However now that I wanted to start blending things like carrots, dates, ginger, kale, spinach etc. the nutri bullet was just not doing a good enough job so I decided to upgrade. I did extension research on all the available blenders out there and settled on this one.I have used it 3 times so far and holy **** does this thing pulverize anything you put into it. When you start this thing on setting 1 and slowly ramp it up to setting 10 it sounds like a jet engine starting up. (THIS UNIT IS NOISY BUT TO ME THAT IS A GOOD THING. YOU KNOW ITS DAMN POWERFUL) If it bothers you throw some earplugs in when using it. That’s what I do. The results are worth it.I have seen a couple of people mention that it doesn’t lock into the base. That to me is a good thing as it will stop the stress of the motor when starting and stopping or using the pulse feature. It hasn’t caused me any issues at all./I have seen other people mention that you cant take the blades out. Again to me that is a huge bonus. No removable parts or O-rings which can fail in the future and cause leaking. If you clean it right away you wont have any issues. You can also dump some hot water and soap and blend it for 60 seconds and that will clean anything out of it.As for the final product. My smoothie experience has just gone from a 5 to a 10. Wow it is just so damn smooth. I love making smoothies now. This is by far the best investment I have ever made and I guarantee you wont be disappointed.If loud bothers you then don’t by a high powered blender. Simple. By a low powered one and have lumpy smoothies.If you can overcome that awesome Jet engine blending power then this is the product for you.I AM BY NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THIS COMPANY.
