A very decent minimizer for regular non-medical daily wear
I’ve spent a small fortune chasing a bra to rescue my D-cups that (three breastfed children and one menopause later) have lost all interest in staying up or keeping that nice rounded shape you see on perky young models. Also, a sedentary job plus a short torso equals can’t do underwire. I have my wire-free bras that give an OK shape but can’t stay up high enough because the straps are always too long, and the weight just tends to pull the back strap up, sliding the boobs down the chest.(I’ve read that D-cup breasts can weigh up to 3 lbs each; I won’t even ask how they could possibly know!)So. I’ve tried minimizers, I’ve tried posture bras, you name it I’ve tried it. Basically, one bra can’t do it all, that’s my conclusion. But this compression bra worn OVER my regular bra actually works pretty well! First of all, the straps are truly adjustable — not the sorry little sliders you see on regular bras but two rows/three columns of hooks, finally set short enough for petite/short torso’ed bodies. Yes, this makes the strap 1.5 inches wide so no spaghetti-strap tops for you; though if you’re carrying Ds, chances are you’re not wearing spaghetti straps anyway. Second, the front closure is seven hooks tall and four rows wide, which is awesomely awesome: I can waltz into the office in the morning all cinched in on the first hook, and nip into the restroom after lunch to discreetly adjust it to a more forgiving setting with no loss of shape. It’s also cut generously enough to accommodate a reasonable V neck or U neck. And finally, the (unlined) compression fabric is stretchy but fairly strong. Worn alone, it does a better job lifting than shaping: the 6 lbs WILL fight back to spread horizontally if they can’t droop vertically. But this bra is a great team player: wear it over a regular bra that does the shaping, and it will supply the lift and forward projection.It really does seem to shave one or two sizes off visually, plus it minimizes the jiggle. What a feeling, catching my reflection in bus windows and seeing a reasonable female silhouette instead of the Venus of Willendorf!It’s sized in letters, from S to 3XL. With a band of somewhere between 38 and 42 (yes, I’m starting my weight loss plan next Monday) I’m fairly comfortable in a L, although I have an XL in my drawer for “fat” days.

Tighter with the hooks !
I think or maybe the bra that I bought, fits different than the one with the zipper !The straps feel tighter around the shoulder area !I have it on the last hook, and the last hook in the breast area !It’s a nice bra ! But it causing me back pain ! The other bra with the zipper , fits better for me and my size !

Great Post Reconstruction Bra
The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the arm holes are pretty small even with them being adjustable. Other than that, I have no complaints. I purchased this bra 4 weeks after a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. I was a 36H and am now a “full d” per my doctor. I ordered a large and it fits well. Let me tell you, the bra hunt has been a journey. You need something with a little more compression than you would if you just got implants, but it’s hard to find something comfortable. The fabric in some of the other front clasp bras bunched and my doctor said that would make the skin wrinkle. This bra is smooth and doesn’t leave any marks on my skin. It is easy to put on and off with the front clasp and still holds as tight as a sports bra. I personally would prefer a wider band but that does not take away from the bra. I’ve worn this for 2 days in a row and it is not stretched out. I’m not saying it’s the only bra I would have bought, but I definitely wasted money trying others and wish I found this earlier. The quality of this bra is just as good if not better than the $60 ones.
