Yoga teacher approved – just wet it a little in the beginning
For price and performance fantastic. Iâve taught yoga for over 10 years. I personally practice 2-4x a week on this mat primarily hot yoga and itâs holding up great! I donât roll it up great and I toss it around and itâs handling it like a champ. You do have to roll it with cork on the outside or it will crease. I also recommend pour a little or spray a little water where your hands and feet go in the beginning of practice to give more traction – not slip. Once I start sweating itâs fine but in the beginning sometimes itâs a little slippery. (Iâve used all the name brand mats over my career and practice and I just wanted to see how a cheap basic mat would compare and this has been better than I expected).

Not just for yoga
Here’s a new idea for you. My senior dog was having traction problems on our kitchen floor and the vet suggested laying down yoga mats on his pathways. We started with those cheap thin ones and although they worked okay, they were ugly and we had to take them outside to hose them off to clean them and then hang to dry. He’s a 100-lb lab, so his nails were roughing them up and they looked pretty raggedy. It was a pleasure to get rid of them. These cork mats look nice, I can vacuum and mop them where they lay, and they clean up very well. They are no-slip and tough enough to withstand his nails, so no rips or gouges in the ??? (many) months we’ve been using them. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even use them for yoga sometime.

These are great for doing hot yoga! The cork absorbs water and let’s you continue with the positions without losing grip.

Solid value, about 5 months’ lifespan
Overall pretty solid value for the price! For longevity context, I bought this in January and go to hot yoga approx 4x per week. I had to stop using this month (May) because of the cork beginning to separate and fall off (and start to be a bit of a problem when I lay this out in the studio).

Durable and long lasting!
I have been using this for over a month now and it is still in excellent condition! Very sturdy and doesnât fall apart like the foam mats!!! The other non-cork mats started falling apart on me so fast, so I wanted something that would last! There are more expensive cork mats on here, but I donât see why to buy something more expensive! This mat is perfect! Would highly recommend if you want something that holds up to hard workouts!!

NOT DURABLE
While I truly loved this mat initially, at 7 months of use the mat is coming apart at the spots where the feet flip. The thin layer of cork is being rubbed off. Anotherwords, although the concept is great, the product is NOT fit for its intended use after 7 months. Additionally, I went to the manufactures website and submitted my issue, but no one has gotten back to me.

I love this mat! At first I was skeptical because when I unrolled it, it wouldnât lay flat and you canât roll it with the cork side on the inside…so the ends curl down when laid out. However, after a couple of uses, when I unroll it, it now lays flat. And it is the best mat Iâve gotten so far! And Iâve tried quite a few.It is amazingly light – I never knew a mat could be so light!And it is the most grippy mat Iâve ever had. Not a sticky grippy, but a really comfortable grippy. So no slipping happening at all! And the hotter I get, the more grip there is. Itâs awesome. And it has no smell at all! So in childâs pose, I was used to smelling a light rubber smell with my previous mats. But with this one – no smell at all. And the thickness is just right – I have great balance on this mat and it doesnât hurt my knees. And as a bonus, it is so very pretty!So all in all, it is a great purchase! Amazing quality for the price! Iâve used it 6 days a week since I got it and I donât regret it one bit!Great yoga mat!!

It smells better compared to the other rubber mats and I love the design so much! Only thing is that if you sweat a lot on it the black paint comes off and makes mark on your cloth and skin, but I still use it as home practice one.
