Originally excited to try this 9 mushroom blend.But I see now that pertinent info of where and how these mushrooms are grownis noticeably missing.EG: are they grown on sterile grain (Oats) in a laboratory OR = on a mushroom farm.Both would likely be the “root” structure, mycelium (vegetable body) stage of the mushroom.and not include the ‘fruiting body’ which is known to contain more active beneficial compounds.The label says this is 100% raw whole food.It does NOT say this is the WHOLE mushroom.IF this were the WHOLE mushroom or included the FRUITING BODIESa manufacture would be proud to put that on the label.((( After some research found that mushrooms have three stages1. starts when a spore germinates and forms a tube called hypha.2. the hypha expands to several which is called mycelium = which is considered the vegetable body.3. the mycelium produces a mushroom which is known as the FRUITING body )))This powder still has many health benefits and is great for coffee / shakes / smoothies.It’s just not as good as fruiting bodies.The 9 variety’s are is 100% raw blend.The 9.5 oz. container = 18 one tablespoon servings.The current $55.00 price seems high to me for a vague label and so = likely root / vegetable body.> The USDA organic is certified by Natural Food Certifiers – But no mention of 3rd party testedAlthough the product info says made in USA (Phoenix, Arizona) = that’s not on the container.

Edit to add….Seller was very accommodating to help with this issue. I will use this company again just not this product for myself. I was taking this for about 3.5 months. I loved that it gave me extra energy and honestly I felt better taking it, 1 tsp in the morning and another at noon. However, after about 3 months I started to develop twitching’s in my face mostly my forehead and between my eyebrows. After doing some research I found that twitching’s can be related to Agaricus! I guess I must be sensitive to that mushroom but I wanted to make others aware since I can’t be the only one. I am going to look for another product that does not contain Agaricus mushroom.

I’ve taken mushroom supplements by capsule for awhile, and they contain a lot of the same mushroom types as the ones in this powdered drink blend.The quantities of each specific mushroom aren’t listed, so I don’t know how much I’m ingesting of each one. The label states 15 grams per tablespoon, with all mushrooms combined.I mixed the blend in unsweetened coconut milk …first with a spoon and then with a mini-frother, to break up any clumps. I would say the flavor was very mushroom-like. A bit like drinking cold mushroom soup. I’m not sure if this will be my preferred way to ingest it, or if I’ll add this powder to soups and other foods instead of making it into a cold drink on its own.The container says that this blend also contains something called “ORMUS Supercharged Minerals.” I wasn’t sure what that means. It would be a good idea for the manufacturer to specify. So, what kind of minerals?Overall, I think this is a good addition to my wellness regime, but I’m not sure if I’ll take it every day or only sporadically, as needed.
