Clean smell
I am a huge fan of the MALIN and GOETZ brand and their candles are no exception! This sage candle seems very strong at first, but itâs actually quite a clean smell. You donât need to burn it long to have the room filled with the aroma. The vessel is a very simple design and fits in with almost any decor. Highly recommend if youâre looking for an every day kind of candle that you can light after dinner and donât want anything too intense.

Smell is wonderful and has an amazing throw even with 20 foot tall ceiling.
I would not say this smells only of Sage. There are other ingredients that give it an earthy outdoor smell. I really like it. The scent fills the room and there is no smoke like some other candles have. I bought another “luxury” candle that I had to return because the smell was so bad I had to air out my house. This one is great and takes very little time to fill the room. There is no smoking and it seems to burn evenly. I would recommend it. I have the Rum perfume from them and like it. I may give that one a try too.

Not worth the cost
I was so excited to find this candle as I love the scents of their other products. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Burned much too fast and virtually no scent. An expensive lesson.

lovely vegetable garden scent
tomato doesnât sound like a scent that you would like but itâs honestly delightful and smells fresh like a day in a garden. plus the malin goetz candles are always such good quality and do an excellent job filling the room. granted i dont have any huge rooms but still theyre very effective for normal one bedroom apartment

I find it difficult to find leather scents that donât smell chemically, but this is hands down my favourite leather candle of all time. I had zero burn troubles with it and having used it all the way down to the wick I now need to replace it. If you like leather scents I 100% recommend this one.
