Light/calm breathing timer
This item is a combination steady white light or a medication light tool. It either requires a set of 3 AAA batteries or to be plugged into a USb plug. The light only comes with the usb cable itself, it does not come with a power brick so you will need to provide that. This is NOT rechargeable, so if you run it off USB, it will need to be plugged in all the time.Once you choose your power source, thereâs a switch that has 3 positions – run from battery, off or run from USB. This is the only way to turn it off outside of unplugging it. Once itâs on, you either get a steady white light or you tap it to switch into the breathing patterning mode. You do need to know which color corresponds to which part of the breath since thereâs no clear indication. The colors are steady and then slowly switch between colors to let you know itâs time to do something else. The colors of the lights are a bit different than what the packaging shows, but this is minor. I find this white light to be a bit bright to be on as a highlight, but it could be used âatmosphereâ lighting. Itâs a bit inconvenient that you have to use the switch to turn the light off and that thereâs so few light options, but it is what it is. Make sure you purchase it with this knowledge.

Cute little meditation device.Weâre trying to do more of this before bed as a family. Lights off and we huddle around this little guy and close our eyes and practice mindfulness breathing.Itâs squishy and when you tap on it, it changes from the breathing exercise to a light.It uses batteries or usb. But if you use a usb, it has to be plugged in to use. Ours doesnât charge up, not sure if supposed to?

Time Is a Little off and One of the Colors are Different
While this nightlight works, the time is off. For the green color, itâs supposed to be 4 seconds. Instead, it is 3 and a half seconds. Also, the color isnât purple as described. It is dark pink. The nightlight is soft to the touch, so pressing on it is comfortable.
