    Pleased with this brand
My first immersion blender was a $20 plastic one from Amazon and it lasted less than a year before overheating and dying. I replaced it with this one and have been using it for several years now. It still works as well as it did when I bought it, so I got another one to give to my daughter after she moved out. It’s one of those things I didn’t know I needed until I had it and now I use it all the time. In fact, I don’t even keep a proper blender around anymore because it’s just as effective to put something into a cup and use this on it. We use it mostly to blend soups and sauces/dressings, but also for milk frothing, making whipped cream and mayo, and once in a pinch to make the cranberry relish at Thanksgiving.

    10/10 Recommend!
I LOVE this thing. Especially the immersion blender. Using it for smoothies is way easier and less messy than using a regular blender. The blades are still sharp after daily use (I’ve had it for years) and the frother is frothin’ — I don’t really use the whisk but I keep her around because you never know. Just be smart about what you’re blending. Break big things up into smaller pieces before putting them in there. Give your liquids some tilt as you froth. And most of all – don’t expect it to be quiet. It’s an electric mashing machine, not a white noise maker. 10/10 recommend!!

    Does the job
I mainly bought this for the blending attachment so I could blend soups etc. That part is sturdy and works well, even though you have to pay attention not to scrape the bottom of your cookware with the metal, it can damage your pots. The other two attachments are more on the flimsy side. I have used the whisk for whipped cream, egg whites, and even frosting, but heavier/thicker/stickier substances do NOT work. I tried cookie dough and something with cream cheese once, and both times I had to break out the kitchen aid instead because the little whisk almost got destroyed. The milk frother has wiggle room when attached, so it doesn’t have a strong consistent turn, it’s a little uncontrolled and messy. But it still frothes milk, and I have only needed it once, so I am okay with it.

    Good quality, decent price.
My husband and I researched this product very carefully before buying to make sure it had all the features we wanted. We chose this one after much deliberation and it’s been great. It is very easy to clean. We’ve had it for about a year and it hasn’t lost any power. The heads are easy to switch out and are sturdy when in use. Very happy with it.

    Great blender!
I love my immersion blender. It’s lightweight but durable and sturdy. I like that there is a dial to adjust the speed as well as the turbo button for when you need an extra push. It dismantles easily with out having to apply a lot of pressure. I highly recommend it.

Works great, but plastic connections should be manufactured better.
Love this little tool. Works great for mixing up protein shakes, smoothy stuff, and ingredients to make ice cream in my Ninja Creami! Chops up nuts really well, too! Exactly what I needed. Whisk works well for scrambled eggs. Not used the frother attachment yet.The only issue is the plastic piece that connects the attachments to the part with the motor. There are two plastic bits that fit together, and the one that is on the attachment comes off ALL the time and get stuck in the top section with the motor (the handle, if you will). Sure, you can just push it back on to the right place, but if it is really firmly attached to the motor part it can be a real pain to get it off! Hubby solved that by using some crazy glue to stick it where it belongs, on the attachment. But seems like that is something you shouldn’t have to do!
