Amazingly Effective!
I was skeptical at first. We read and hear so many advertisements that claim to be effect at compression but are not. My doctor advised me to get compression socks for both pain and swelling in my ankles and overall leg. I put them on kind of expecting them to not be effective at all. WAS I WRONG!!!!! These socks are amazing. My daily swelling and pain have been DRASTICALLY reduced. I am feeling no pain an the swelling is about 90% gone. It is so slight I had to look for it. Yes, they are pricey, but they are middle of the road price and well worth the money. If you are dealing with the same thing or vein issues, these are the ones for you. I highly reccommend!

Perfect fit and compression strength
Due to a history of DVTâs Iâve been wearing compression socks for 25 years. Iâve bought cheap and expensive ones, and I know the difference in quality, etc.these are very well made; compression is just right and after wearing them on two separate flights I had no swelling in my legs. They tend to be a bit long, but my heel to below the knee distance is 16â which is just right (for me).

Right amount of compression
Great so far – these socks so far have the right amount of compression – not too tight or too loose. I’ve been finding my legs feeling wonky after sitting working at the computer all day and also have an upcoming flight to Italy. Plan to use these on the flight – great price too!

Way too tight, canât get it on my foot without help
They are impossible to get on my body. I cannot even open the sock wide enough myself to put my foot in. My husband had to stretch them open for me to put them on. Way too tight! I feel like itâs cutting the circulation off of my feet. The material feels pretty bad, too. I guess they are compressing, just way too much for me. I got the correct size, I just donât like tight clothes, but my doctor told me I should get them for pregnancy air travel.

Longtime Fan
I’ve been a big fan of these Physix Gear compression socks for a number of years now. Recently ordered two new pairs. They are just great for edema in my legs– the right fit, thickness, and comfort. They work! I was worried that these socks would be hot, but they aren’t. I even forget I’m wearing them.

Disappointed, NOT the same socks I bought before
I bought a pair of these socks back in 2023 for a trip to Japan. The pair I purchased are fantastic and are truly thigh high on my 6 foot frame. I am pregnant and purchased two pairs in 2025 to help with varicose veins. And the two pairs that I purchased are completely different. I gave it some time and have worn them 10+ times., To see if they just needed to be broken in.The quality is absolutely not the same. The top of the sock lands right on my knee and actually causes pain because they roll up forming a hard band around my knee. So if I move they need to be readjusted constantly. Iâm really quite sad, because the one pair I have are better than any other pair of compression socks Iâve found. It just stinks that these new pairs are so different/crappy.

Very comfortable
Very comfortable socks. I just wore them on flights to and from Europe without any issues. I’ve had long socks like this to wear with boots in the past and the cuffs were always too tight at the top of the calf behind my knee – really uncomfortable. These Physix Gear Compression socks, however, didn’t cause any discomfort for me anywhere. I would recommend them as boot socks whether you need the compression feature or not.

Wonderful Support
Served its purpose. My flight was delayed, we had to divert to get more gas and it was delayed again. I spent an additional 4 hours sitting at the airport and another 4 hours on the plane. Thank God I wore these wonderful socks, they definitely made a big difference.

I work abroad travelling by plane from one coast to the other and return every Monday. I spend a great deal of time sitting cramped up in a seat and my concern is that of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) as I have developed varicose veins in my legs over the last year. After much reading up on this, and consulting with a healthcare specialist, it was suggested that I start wearing compression socks. So, where do I start? Amazon of course because if I want to know as much as I need about a product, I read up on the reviews. I came across Physix Gear Sport and read the reviews along with checking out their website. I was impressed, but ultimately, I was more impressed with how the socks work, feel when I wore them for the whole day travelling. No sooner did I receive my socks when I received an email from the owner of Physix Gear Sport wanting to know if I received my item and how everything went. Well Adam, these have to be the best socks I have ever worn. Honestly, my legs feel 25 years younger. My calves don’t cramp up or Charlie-horse on me anymore. When I got off the plane, my legs felt fantastic and not stiff with pins and needles. I have to say that these socks are really working for me. I will certainly be buying more from your company now that I have experienced them for myself. Thank you.

These are a fantastic pair of socks I got them for when I go running but have started to use them at work as well as I’m on my feet for 12 hrs a day, these socks have stopped all aches and pains I used to suffer from while at work they’re so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing them.I rinse them through with warm water and they don’t seem to hold any odour, I will be buying more pairs of them soon and have recommended them to a few friends and family members.I would definitely recommend buying these if you suffer with any pain while on your feet all day

I like the socks.Care: Usually I wash by hand in the sink before bed and by morning they are ready to go. But if pressed for time and washing in a machine then put them in a mesh laundry bag to keep the material from pilling and they last longer.Use: I am recovering from stroke and learning to walk again is a challenge but the compression socks help reduce swelling and muscle pain from calves and feet that are not accustomed to taking weight.Compression: Also, the compression strength varies so it is a bit lighter in the ankles where I don’t want too much squeeze – this really makes a difference. Too much pressure on the ankle and my feet hurt a lot more after exercising.Another unique thing about these socks is that the weave of the compression spirals around the sock in an upward-diagonal pattern rather than just side-to side. I’ve noticed that this pattern makes a difference in getting blood flow going while you walk.The box promises a free e-book download from physixgear.com/VIP but it wasn’t about compression socks so that was mildly disappointing.
