So Good I Bought a 2nd One
I bought this cookbook as a gift for my son, to give him some simple & healthy meal ideas. He loves it! After looking through it, I decided to order one for myself too. Recipes are uncomplicated and pretty healthy, nice ideas for some different food combinations to try. Nice photos too. Highly recommend!

Great cookbook!
This is a great book for everyone, even my brother snapped a picture of a few recipes. Very easy to follow, and you shouldn’t have to make a bunch of trips to the store as it uses lots of pantry ingredients. Most recipes have a picture included. Index is pretty worthless as I’d rather it be sorted by ingredientsbut I can look past it.

Great book with easy recipes.
This book was definitely worth the price! I am single and retired, so I like to keep things simple. This is definitely simple and the recipes are good!

Nice recipes but inconvenient index
Pros: There are photos for the majority of recipes (not all) which makes it great to browse for inspiration. I like that the recipes are easy to adapt.Cons: many cookbooks will arrange the index by ingredients, but this one doesn’t. I like to browse cookbooks to make use of ingredients I already have. For example, if I have an abundance of zucchini I can look it up in the index and see which recipes make use of it. This book arranged the index by alphabetical title of recipe. Therefore, I have to read each recipe to figure out which ones have a suitable ingredients list. For me, that defeats the purpose of a 5 ingredient cookbook, which is to be a quick way to find simple recipes for available ingredients.

Great recipes!
I’ve found some great recipes in this cookbook that have made it worth the cost of the cookbook! i especially liked the rise n shine yogurt parfait, the ham and cheese frittatas, and the whole wheat pancakes. While there are some that are things I don’t think I would want to eat, there are still a lot more that look promising that I plan to try. Everything so far has been quick and no fuss! I’ve only had one recipe I’ve made so far that I didn’t like, but I think it is more my taste buds than a problem with the recipe. Not everything is super healthy in the book, but there are plenty of recipes that are. Even as I’m aware that most of the recipes are available on their website, it is helpful to have these all collected in one place. I’m very glad that I bought it!
