Potent Sleep Aid
Works well, does its job! It really knocks you out though, so be careful to not take it too late into the evening or you may oversleep your alarm! Don’t ask me how I know.

ZzzQuil ULTRA is my go-to for occasional sleepless nights. It helps me fall asleep fast and stay asleep without feeling groggy the next day. The 25mg of doxylamine is strong but not overwhelming, and the 48-tablet pack is a great value. Just be sure to take it when you can get a full night’s rest. Highly recommended!

Perfect if you want long deep sleep
This product works as advertised. Iâve been having trouble sleeping lately, and I figured Iâd give this a try. I was fully asleep within 40 minutes of taking this pill. The only downside is that it works too well. I would not recommend taking the extra strength version like this one unless you know you can sleep in the next day.Although I slept fantastic, it did made me feel very tired the next day. I felt like I needed to stay in bed longer. It didnât make me feel groggy, but just sleepy so I wonât be taking this during the week as I donât want to be tired the next morning, but I think itâs a good option for a weekend or if you have nothing to do the next morning.Aside from that, sweet dreams.

Works, but requires work?
Good for sleeping, I take one before I want to crash, and I’m usually yawning around an hour later.Dreams aren’t as weird as they are when I take melatonin. That isn’t a positive or a negative per se, it’s just an observation. (I like weird dreams for the most part, but it’s nice to have a break)My only real complaint about these, is the packaging.I have yet to remove one of the pills from the blister packs easily.I’ve broken several trying to get them out.I’ve taken to using a knife to get them out lately, and that’s just ridiculous.For the record, I’m mid 50’s, in good shape with strong fingers and above average dexterity.I think they are meant to be peeled open from a corner?But no corner is pre-creased, so I’m not sure.You can’t push them through the backing though, so peeling the backing has to be the way.I can usually peel about half the backing off, then it tears, and that’s after trying to get a corner free for awhile.It’s dumb.Other than that, they are good.I won’t be buying them again, I’ll either get the gel caps (which are normal removal difficulty level) or the liquid.All 3 work the same, this version for whatever reason is just an aggravating pain to extract.Live and learn I guess.Anyway, hope that helps, and hope you get a good night’s sleep.

Severe anxiety reaction, not good!
I will relay my experience to save others from the same trouble.I have had a hard time getting enough sleep for several years. Ive tried a wide variety of products but nothing worked well. I decided to try this product due to the trusted Nyquil brand name.I used these pills over the course of 6 months daily and only had slightly increased sleep hours. I used as directed, did not do higher doses. The small improvement was ok, better than no improvement at all so I stayed on it.At the same time I began to have severe anxiety especially at night and felt depressed. I chalked this up due to general life stress. However, generally I am not a person who is depressed.Fast forward, despite nothing outwardly being wrong I became so depressed I began to try to isolate any cause. After trying a number of pills and supplements, I finally cut out these pills.Within 2 days I felt like my old self. The anxiety lowered to a moderate level I would associate with any normal stressful life situation. I stopped having night terrors. I felt optimisitic and could once again handle life’s issues with logic and strategy.It was obvious these pills were the problem.I don’t know if these pills caused a bad reaction due to other medication or herbs. But this experience was a literal nightmare for me and I suggest proceeding with caution. After being off of these pills for approx 1.5 months it’s clear that was the problem.I have never had trouble with any other Nyquil item such as cold medicine day or night, or sleep aids.
